About Westeros Codex

Westeros Codex is an independent, fan-made encyclopedia of the Game of Thrones television universe and the A Song of Ice and Fire novels it draws from. It exists for one reason: to organise the saga's sprawling cast into something you can actually explore — searchable, filterable, cross-linked, and quantified.

What you'll find here

• Original character biographies. Every profile is a long-form essay written specifically for this site — our own reading of each character's arc, motivations and turning points, not a paste of a wiki summary.
• Original statistics. We score each character across six attributes (combat, intellect, loyalty, influence, survivability, moral compass) and track metadata such as screen-time minutes, episode counts, named on-screen kills and lore milestones. These figures are our own editorial estimates, assembled for comparison rather than canon.
• An eight-season timeline. Pivotal events are mapped per character and across the whole series so you can follow cause and consequence.
• A relationship graph linking families, lovers, mentors, rivals and enemies.
• A trivia vault of deep-cut facts for the obsessives.

Our editorial approach

We watch the show, read the books, and write our own analysis. Where we state a fact (an actor's name, an episode title, a season number) we aim for accuracy; where we offer interpretation, scoring or ranking, that is clearly opinion and original analysis. We do not copy text from Fandom, Wikipedia, A Wiki of Ice and Fire, or HBO's official pages. If you spot an error, tell us — see the contact page.

Who makes it

Westeros Codex is built and maintained by a single independent fan developer. It is a passion project, not a commercial product of any studio or publisher.
