1. The Site is informational and unofficial
Westeros Codex is a free, fan-made encyclopedia about the Game of Thrones television series and the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HBO, Warner Bros. Discovery, George R. R. Martin, or any related entity. Content is provided for general information and entertainment.
2. Intellectual property
The original text, biographies, statistics, scoring, layout, code and design of this Site are the property of Westeros Codex and may not be copied or republished in bulk without permission. Third-party names, trademarks and source material referenced on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used under fair-use/fair-dealing principles for commentary and reference. See our disclaimer.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, mirror, or bulk-republish the Site's original content;
- interfere with the Site's operation, security, or advertising;
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
4. Advertising & third-party links
The Site is supported by advertising (Google AdSense) and may contain affiliate links to third-party retailers. Affiliate links are disclosed where they appear; we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
