Biography
Ramsay Snow was the acknowledged bastard of Roose Bolton, lord of a house whose sigil is a flayed man and whose words are 'Our Blades Are Sharp.' He spent the series proving the sigil was a family portrait. Introduced as an anonymous 'helper' to the captive Theon Greyjoy, he conducted the show's most extended psychological destruction — flaying, mutilation, and mind-games that dismantled Theon into the creature called Reek — all before the audience even learned his name.
Legitimized by royal decree as payment for the Red Wedding, Ramsay seized the Stark legacy through marriage to Sansa, whose wedding-night abuse marked the show's darkest controversy and her hardest steel. He murdered his father when Roose's trueborn son was born, fed his stepmother and infant half-brother to the hounds, and shot Rickon Stark dead with arrows in the opening of the Battle of the Bastards — the cruelty designed to bait Jon Snow into breaking formation, which worked. It was his only strategic miscalculation that mattered: the Vale's knights crushed his army, Jon beat him nearly to death with bare fists in the Winterfell courtyard, and Sansa granted him a perfectly symmetrical end — locked in his own kennels with the hounds he had starved for seven days. 'Your words will disappear. Your house will disappear. All memory of you will disappear.'
